Friendly service with walk up ordering. Giant menu on the wall to see easily. My daughter and I shared the nachos with chicken and guacamole. Everything was so fresh and delicious! We did not really care for the chipotle sauce that came on it, but it was also fresh and well made - just not something we like. Can't wait to bring the rest of the family and try the mole!

Beautiful smile and so sweet .I ordered a taco and a pineapple lime aqua Fresca ! This was a simple small Order but I loved both of them .The taco had grilled onions and had so much flavor in the meat .The pineapple Aqua Fresca was served in a glass jar with pieces of fruit .Overall ,amazing and I'm Coming back!

Taqueria Talavera is doing things right--mostly. We've been here twice, and this review is based on our second visit, which was a Sunday evening about an hour and a half before closing. Service wasn't overly friendly, but not rude either. I'd give them a three-star rating for service. They were probably just tired, closing time and all. Now, let's talk about where they shine: food and pricing. On Solano Ave, they do a fantastic job keeping their menu affordable, especially for college kids, and the portions are generous. We ordered the chicken burrito and the Chile Colorado plate, and both were absolutely delicious! Seating, though, gets three stars. It's a bit cramped, with the entrance right by the seating area and these wooden benches that sit higher than the low tables. Plus, there's a constant flow of on-demand drivers picking up to-go orders, reaching over our heads to grab their bags. That process could definitely use some improvement. Also, no QR code for ordering, so they lack some modern conveniences. They have an upstairs area and outdoor seating, which is nice. The first time we ate upstairs, and this time we saw people enjoying the outdoor area, taking in the evening sunset. One must-try item? The choco flan! It's an amazing mix of flan and chocolate cake. So good, I'll always go back for it. Next time, we'll probably try the tres leches too. All in all, four stars for Taqueria Talavera. Great food and prices, despite a few hiccups. Hope this review helps. Enjoy!

I have eaten the food from here to go a couple times and also attended a bday that they catered, and I've always enjoyed the food. Yesterday I went in with my son and his friend and we ate in. We sat on the top floor and enjoyed the music and the environment. The boys both got a carne asada burrito and chips/salsa (they both ate all of it). I got the carne asada torta and it was fantastic. I ate half because it was large and brought the other half home. My SO enjoyed it as well. It had beef, onions, lettuce, beans, cojito, tomato. Super delicious, and I always order tortas, so top stars. I got my SO a breakfast burrito with chorizp and red sauce on it. He was super pumped. He goes with his coworkers sometimes but has never tried the breakfast burrito. He said it was the best thing he's had from there. Afterwards the boys played for a little in the park next door.
